Description | dTDP-3-aminofucose is a precursor of (at least) two exopolysaccharide components, 3-acetamidofucose (D-fuc3NAc), and 3-(3-hydroxybutyramido)-fucose (D-fuc3NBu) [1,2]. In Aneurinibacillus thermoaerophilus, where the final product is D-fuc3NAc, the FdtA and FdtB genes have been characterized [1]. |
